Excavation
Plan deep work areas around ground conditions, access, support requirements and construction water.

Water Infrastructure
Deep stormwater and drainage networks integrated with roads, utilities and urban infrastructure.
Delivery scope
Deep drainage systems convey stormwater through buried pipes, reinforced-concrete drains, chambers and outfalls while crossing busy infrastructure corridors. Construction commonly requires deep excavation, temporary excavation support, level control, bedding or structural preparation, and careful connection between network elements. Roads and existing utilities create additional sequencing and reinstatement demands. The four points below describe the practical controls needed to protect the excavation, maintain the designed flow path and integrate drainage works with the surrounding site.

Deep excavations planned with suitable access, temporary support and water-management arrangements.
Pipes and reinforced-concrete conveyance structures installed to controlled lines, levels and connections.
Chambers, junctions and outfalls formed as coordinated parts of the wider drainage network.
Road and utility interfaces managed through staged construction, backfilling and reinstatement.
Delivery focus
Buried drainage work becomes progressively less accessible as installation and backfilling advance. Excavation stability, bedding, structure levels and joint interfaces therefore need to be controlled at the correct stage. The sequence must also preserve access around roads and existing services, while allowing chambers and outfalls to connect cleanly with the principal conveyance route before final reinstatement closes the work area.
Plan deep work areas around ground conditions, access, support requirements and construction water.
Control lines, levels and connections across pipes, drains, chambers and network junctions.
Stage crossings, backfilling and reinstatement to protect adjacent infrastructure and completed work.
